Meet Emmylou Rivers

Emmylou Rivers providing physiotherapy treatment

With 21 years as a veterinary nurse and 12 years specializing in physical rehabilitation, I bring extensive experience in treating animals of all kinds. I hold dual registration with the SA Vet Council as a Veterinary Nurse and Rehabilitation Practitioner.

My journey began when I noticed a significant gap in post-surgical and senior patient care during my veterinary nursing career. This led me to complete my Certified Canine Rehabilitation Practitioner (CCRP) certification, where I discovered the amazing healing powers of hydrotherapy.

My experience spans from exotic animals to domestic pets, including work at specialized wildlife practices. I'm particularly passionate about helping rescue animals, working with organizations like Woodrock, Barking Mad, and SA Labrador Rescue.
